:- 2.0 out of 5 stars from SciFiGuy -- I gave it two stars on the strength of the series until recently : I first discovered this series from the anime on Funimation. After I realized what the source material was I went out and scooped up the available 4-5 books and loved them. But a few books later the series began to bog down. The girls were less and less important. More and more they were barely mentioned or if they were mentioned it seemed like some sort of obligatory "Oh that's right he's engaged to a bunch of pretty women wink wink" reference. Other than gaining new abilities and toys, none of the characters have grown in any way since book 7 or so. They have not grown closer in any meaningful way. I'm not asking for an R-rated harem book, but barely holding hands or a peck on the cheek here and there and thinking themselves bold for it? Seriously? From people who absolutely wreck their enemies. They practically level a city, then blush from a kiss on the forehead? Seriously? They are years older at this point, but keep acting like shy 15 year olds. Seriously? ( Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2020 )

Time to hustle then. When the worlds combined the wicked god had a new trick; divine venom. This is bad news for Touya and his fiancees. There is so much that could be going on in the daily life, I guess it would be hard to cover all of it without making either a huge book, or dragging out each book with too much detail. I am not going through the next volume immediately after finishing one and waiting for a month, so that I will not have to wait for more than one one month when the volume 21 will be finished.
